BOSTON COMEDY ARTS FESTIVAL
The 2016 Boston Comedy Arts Festival covers 3 stages and features Improv, Sketch, and StandUp Comedy.

Liquid Fun
"Liquid Fun is the biggest comedy group on Boston University’s campus. In 2013 we were voted “BU’s Funniest Group” and we respectively choose not to disagree. We perform free shows all the time on campus, and do a mix of short-form improv (think Whose Line without the CW’s Standards and Practices Department) and long-form improv (UCB-style hijinks). We also perform at tons of other colleges and theaters around New England and the Northeast. In the last few years we’ve had shows in Vermont, New York, Rhode Island, Massachusetts (shocker!), Quebec, and elsewhere. Within Boston, we’ve performed with groups at just about every college and university, as well as Improv Boston and Improv Asylum. This kind of collaboration peaks every spring when we host our annual 24-Hour Comedy Marathon, which brings groups from all over to perform a full day and night’s worth of comedy in BU Central to benefit the Great Boston Area Food Bank."
Spider House
"Spider House hatched out of an ImprovBoston graduating class in November 2015. They combine their confidence in one another with a comfortable weirdness to create a show that entertains and surprises. Playing independent shows at The Riot Theater in Jamaica Plain, a successful Cage Match run in Cambridge, and Festival Participation in NYC and Chicago, the name Spider House can be heard uttered in the green rooms, alleyways, and dive bars across the greater Boston area."
Cuddle Party
"Cuddle Party, Boston's most endearing indie improv troupe, is first and foremost the best of friends. It’s Party Time celebrates the most unusual excuses (as chosen by the audience) for a party in which the performers exploit the hilarity of the unique world, both inside and outside of the party, that revels such unusualness.
The show opens with the audience choosing an uncommon reason why someone might have a party. This inspires the creation of an entire world that cherishes the value of throwing a party for the audience-inspired suggestion. . The show ends with a frenetic and fast-paced 'run' in which anything and everything that got a chuckle from the crowd can be called back in a short scene."
