Join us for the Columbia Journalism School Alumni Reception in San Francisco. During this evening, Dean Jelani Cobb will participate in a fireside chat with Katherine Rowlands '89, Independent Business Owner of the Bay City News wire service and its nonprofit affiliate site, LocalNewsMatters.org in the Bay Area, who will discuss the importance of local news and the local news infrastructure to combat disinformation as the basis for a thriving democracy.
