Heading south from China we run into several countries, but tonight we focus on Korean cuisine. The flavors are distinct with an emphasis on spicy and garlic. Here are the dishes we'll create.
Mandoo (Dumplings) - Each Asian culture has their version of a potsticker and this is the Korean version. We'll also make a great dipping sauce.
Chap Jae - Made with Yam starch, this dish is perfect for those who are avoiding gluten.
Soon Do Bu - This may the national dish of Korea and there is not specific ingredient to make this dish. Served with rice, its a meal in itself.
Bulgogi - Grilled meat is featured in many Korean BBQ restaurants and the marinade is key to the flavors.
Korean Style Fried Chicken - With the proper coating and sauce, this dish is unforgettable.
Cost is $300 for the series or $85 per class.
