OBJECTIVE:

The purpose of the Nelson Chair Roundtable is to provide an opportunity for leaders of programs working in the community to pause and think through their interventions with other resource persons. To that end, the Nelson Chair Roundtable will be bringing together leaders and community partners of a place-based change effort called the Boston Promise Initiative (BPI) - a strategy led by the Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative. The mission of BPI is to create a community of opportunity, centered on strong schools, strong families, and strong neighborhoods, that allows every child to learn, grow, and succeed.
