Description

Advocate for Kids!

Join the Washington Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics at our 2016 Advocacy Day and Annual Meeting. You'll learn how to be an effective advocate, get in-depth information about our top legislative priorities, and hear from champions for children about issues that affect children in our state. Depending on availability, you'll also have the opportunity to meet with your own legislators and their staff - don't worry, we'll schedule these meetings on your behalf! Speakers include Secretary of Health Dr. John Wiesman, Health Policy Advisor Jason McGill, Medicaid Director Mary Anne Lindeblad, as well as legislators.

After a morning of education and a casual networking lunch, our afternoon will continue with the Chapter annual meeting and trustee meeting. We invite you to stay for both if your schedule allows.

Don't miss this full day of advocacy and action on behalf of our state's children!
