2015 Point In Time Count

A coalition of agencies recently announced the Housing First Charlotte-Mecklenburg initiative, a new initiative to end chronic homelessness in Charlotte by 2016. Urban Ministry Center has been named as the project manager for Housing First Charlotte-Mecklenburg. Urban Ministry has requested volunteers to help survey and interview the homeless as part of the annual Point in Time Count. The survey will build the registry of those who are chronically homeless so that service providers know who to help and what kind of help they need. Volunteers are needed for interviewing (in teams, and with training) and data entry of the collected information.

UWYL is planning on putting together a team to assist with interviewing. PLEASE NOTE THAT IN ADDITION TO THE DATE/TIME LISTED ABOVE, THERE IS ALSO A AMANDATAROY TRAINING SESSION ON SUNDAY, JANUARY 25TH FROM 2PM-4PM.
