2015 Marion County Conference on Re-entry

Please join us for the Second Annual Marion County Conference on Re-entry. This will be another energizing and engaging day filled with learning, resource sharing, networking, and collaboration. This conference is for all levels of staff working in re-entry or with current or formerly incarcerated individuals.

Attendees will hear from City officials and local content experts in large group sessions. This year, there will be four capacity-building breakout sessions will be offered which will include content experts sharing information in each of the following topic areas:
• Client-Centered Services
• The Business of Re-entry
• Mental Health
• Young Adults (18-25 year olds)
• Emerging Practices
• Engaging with the Criminal Justice System

For each of the breakout sessions, participants can choose to attend a presentation in any of the topic areas. For planning purposes, you will be asked which area is of most interest to you during registration, but this does not commit you to any topic.

Registration is free, but limited to the first 400 people. A complimentary box lunch and light breakfast will be provided to registrants. Please cancel your registration if your plans change and you can no longer attend.

Resource Area: You are invited to contribute print or other materials about your program/agency to the resource area. If you plan to bring materials for the resource area, please arrive at by 8am with your materials and check in at the registration desk.

All attendees should arrive between 8am and 8:30am to check in at registration. The opening plenary will begin at 8:30am.

Re-entry is a community-wide issue, and we must work together to ensure that all formerly incarcerated individuals in Marion County are successfully re-integrated into their community!
