Whether in a developing country or the US, women need a new strategy to change the old systems of leadership. Crashing gender barriers by stepping into male dominated roles in government, on boards and in C-Suites takes skills, confidence and courage.

Join us for a discussion on mentoring and sponsorship. We will learn from innovative thinkers and explore action we can take to propel women into positions of leadership through mentoring and sponsoring. Research shows us that in the last 10 years we have not made any progress in board and c-suite representation and globally we are seeing slippage around women's rights. We will explore the recommended rules of engagement and ways each of us can mentor and find mentors and sponsors to help with career and leadership advancement.

Those of us who have experienced the reality of gender barriers and glass ceilings have a role to play in empowering the next generation up-and-coming leaders. Join us to learn and discuss how we can all share our skills and be a part of the movement to ensure the next generation of women gain the courage to go the distance.
