Worcestershire LitFest & Fringe
As a community-driven literary organisation, the Worcestershire Literary Festival and Fringe CIC was established in 2010 with the goal of promoting literature and poetry in the region. One of our main objectives is to provide a platform for emerging talents to showcase their work and connect with like-minded individuals. We promote writing, poetry and performance across the county. WLFF holds a monthly spoken word event SpeakEasy which currently alternates between online and in-person on the 2nd Thursday of the month. We also run a calendar of events including the annual Worcestershire LitFest & Fringe Festival (8th-14th June 2025), three competitions: Worcestershire Poet Laureate, Flash Fiction and Young Writer and collaborate with various local businesses and organisations, most recently a joint project with the Museum of Royal Worcester on the 'Language of Porcelain and Food'.
