Nkem DenChukwu

Nkem DenChukwu is an award-winning author of twelve books, eleven of which are for kids 7+ and teens. Her first book titled Tribal Echoes is for adults, young adults, and teens. Her most recent picture book, When Hearts Touch, was released in 2022 before being adapted into a 3D award-winning animation short film in 2023. The film screened at Essence Film Festival in New Orleans and also won for Best Animation at the 12th Globe Awards in Lagos, Nigeria at AFRIFF - the African International Film Festival. Her inspirational verses were featured five times in the Oprah Winfrey Magazine - O. Nkem is also a film producer with 13 films under her belt. 'Lone Star Deception' is her 2018 film production with Oscar Nominee, Eric Roberts. She was also featured in Forbes digital edition, Fox 26, CBS 11, ABC 13, NBC 2, Houston Chronicle, and VOA - Voice of America.
