Young Caribbean Professional Network

Mission: Young Caribbean Professional Network (YCPN) is dedicated to creating access to education and economic opportunities for students and young professionals in the global market place.

What We Do: Young Caribbean Professional Network is dedicated to engaging Caribbean and Latino students and professionals (ages 18-45), for personal, professional and business growth in the Greater Northeast Region of the United States.  We encourage young professionals from the Caribbean, Latino, Haitian, African, Asian, and European communities to join with us to build a strong Diverse Young Global Network in the Greater Northeast corridor.

Young Caribbean Professional Network has created the International Awards to recognize outstanding business/institutional leaders that are creating jobs and economic development opportunities in the international markets, or promoting trade and investment between the Caribbean and the United States.

Young Caribbean Professional Network produces Caribbean Cuisine Week to help over 700 Caribbean high school athletes participate at the Penn Relays. The Penn Relays is the largest annual track and field meet in the United States and brings over 115,000 visitors to Philadelphia each Spring.

YCPN has also created the YCPN Scholarship Fund which assists low-income Minority. Latino, or Caribbean students at the University of Pennsylvania, Temple, Drexel and LaSalle Universities with academic and book scholarships.  The Scholarship Fund was launched in April 2017.

YCPN will launch Chapters in New York City and Washington DC in 2018.  Scholarships will be established for University Students in those cities.
