How it works

• We arrive, settle in at the back of the cafe (the small chairs and tables along the back wall), meet + greet
• Open with a short reading & discussion of a published work or something presented by one of our writers
• Launch into an hour of individual writing.
• That's it!

How it started

Write Miami was created in March 2024, after two friends were in search of a dedicated time and place to work on their passion projects. Two more friends graciously offered up their living room for the first midday Sunday gathering, giving rise to our slogan "We Write at Noon!" Then, as more friends, colleagues, neighbors and friendly strangers joined in, the WriteMiami community was born. The rest is still unwritten...
