World Food Programme
The World Food Programme is the world’s largest humanitarian organization, saving lives in emergencies and using food assistance to build a pathway to peace, stability and prosperity. In 2021, WFP worked to save and change the lives of more than 128 million people. We support people in over 120 countries and territories. WFP is among the first on the scene in an emergency, providing food and other assistance to people affected by conflict, climate change and the global recession following the COVID-19 pandemic and the outbreak of the war in Ukraine. At the same time, WFP keeps a sharp focus on sustainable development, providing governments with the support and skills to manage food security in the long term.
