Water Wellness SUP Training
Water Wellness’ mission is to increase the health and wellness of individuals through paddle fitness. Kimberly and Shannon are our trained fitness instuctors.
Kimberly is ΑCA certified to give lessons to a beginner paddler. Kimberly and Shannon are CPR and First Aid certified.Further training in paddle sport has been obtained for strength, paddle technique as well as nutrition to give a well rounded instruction for a variety of individual needs. Both Kimberly and Shannon are tour guides for Epic Paddle Adventures. Kimberly has a B.S. Degree in Biomedical Sciences with a Health Sciences minor, and is a licensed massage therapist. A full body and holistic approach to health and wellness is the major focus of developing a fitness program. Paddle sport is our passion and we Hope to pass that along to all.
Water wellness will hold classes for interval trainings which are hour long classes with an on ground warmup, water warm up with technical drills, a sprint and interval series followed by a cool down. Other classes and events include a stretch and flex class for increased flexibility as well as recovery for paddle training. Beginner classes to learn proper paddle technique and gain abiltiy join up fitness classes. Weekend series classses on multiple paddle topics. Group outings for endurance paddles as well as the opportunity to join 5K paddle races as a group to help reach and maintain paddle goals.
