  Untapped New York helps New Yorkers rediscover their city!

Our experiences are created by New Yorkers for New Yorkers and focus on three types of experiences:

* We give you access to places usually off-limits to the public like on our Hard Hat Tour of Ellis Island's Abandoned Hospital, VIP Tour of the Woolworth Building (led by the great-grand daughter of the building's architect Cass Gilbert!), Tour of the Players Club on Gramercy Park and many more...

* We reveal the secrets of NYC's iconic buildings and places! Everybody knows Grand Central Terminal... but have you ever seen its hidden tennis court? We work tirelessy to unearth the most surprising stories about all the places we know and love in NYC (Grand Central, Central Park, Prospect Park, Brooklyn Bridge...) and we surprise even the most seasoned New Yorkers!

* We uncover remnants of the City's past like on our Underground Tour of the NYC Subway, Tour of the Remnants of Dutch New Amsterdam, Tour of the Remnants of the World's Fairs, Tour of the Remnants of the old Penn Station in the current Penn Station... just to name a few!

In addition to creating experiences we also are a web magazine (this is actually how we started!). We publish articles everyday about NYC's most surprising places, stories and events. Untapped Cities' founder, Michelle Young, is also a professor at Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation and has forged very strong relationships with city officials and a wide range of organizations throughout NYC... which is how we can get you access inside places no one else has access to!
