ABOUT US:

UNICO DMV is the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia chapter of UNICO National—the premier Italian-American service organization in the United States. Our mission is to promote philanthropy and preserve Italian and Italian-American culture, history, and heritage. Since 1947, UNICO has raised nearly $1 million annually to support disaster relief, medical research, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and scholarships nationwide.

OUR ACTIVITIES:

UNICO DMV hosts a variety of cultural and community events, including Italian restaurant gatherings, language meetups, culinary classes, wine and cheese tastings, film nights, and bocce outings. Events are open to members, the Italian-American community, Italophiles, and the public. As a young chapter, we welcome ideas for activities that build community and support our mission.
