Theodore Harris

Born and raised in Washington D.C., Chef Theoudour at the age of 10 drew inspiration for his passion in the kitchen by watching "The Galloping Gourmet,” a popular cooking show of the late 60s. He began to challenge himself by creating similar dishes for everyone in the house to enjoy. In pursuit of being a professional cook, he landed his first cooking job at 17.

With over 40 years of experience in some of the most notable kitchens such as the Library of Congress, National Gallery of Art, and other places throughout Washington, D.C., the pursuit to have his own restaurant has grown urgently after decades of honest reviews from customers, friends, family, and his biggest influence, his son Shon.

Chef Theodour is now diving into his own endeavors with this new cuisine, Papa Shon’s. This feel good cuisine provides a new opportunity to show love through food with an old school flavor and a new school touch. In the words of Chef Theodour, "It's all love!!!!"
