Table SALT Group (TSG) brings people together to turn research, shared knowledge, and community connections into practical action.

Founded by LaRachelle Samuel-Smith, PhD, co-author of Black to the Future, TSG is a research-to-practice think tank serving small businesses, institutions, and communities. Our mission is to help people understand their options, strengthen their capacity, and build a legacy that future generations can use.

We host workshops, facilitated conversations, networking experiences, and learning sessions focused on business readiness, community economic development, leadership, and legacy. We also collaborate with community partners to connect participants with local entrepreneurs, useful resources, and new perspectives.

Our work draws on Black to the Future and its community-centered LEGACY framework, alongside practical tools such as Business Quad Squad. Whether you’re building a business, leading an organization, or exploring your community’s future, we invite you to bring your questions, share your experience, and discover a useful next step.
