Purpose

We do cognition. We distill it to its basic operations and teach and coach it to enable clients to strengthen reliability and performance. Our competencies have been forged through work in tough operational environments and the scientific discovery of the cognitive processes integral to organizational efficacy.

Perspective

Our work is framed cybernetically. It enacts a dynamic system perspective to exhibit the sway of cognition within organizations; to reveal the way it governs process and function. The approach is based on four physical principles:

1. Everything — including organizations — is a system.
2. All systems are information processing systems:
3. Information is physical: Cognition is an information process and belongs to the physics of the system.
4. The purpose of a system is what it does.

Principal—Sigetic CEO/CTO

Joaquin Trujillo is a former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Operations Officer and holds a PhD in Sociology from Florida International University (FIU). He regularly coaches military staff in team, leadership, communication, and high-reliability processes requisite to enterprise success. Basic elements of this work carry over to Sigetic cognitive training workshops for corporate clients and are enhanced by his published scientific research.
