Meet Shannon – Founder, Co-Organizer

After moving to the Monterey Peninsula from Seattle - where she was actively involved in a thriving bartering community - Shannon set out to find something similar in her new home. When she couldn’t find it, she helped create it. Passionate about alternative economies and mutual support, Shannon brings experience, heart, and a deep belief in community-driven exchange to every event. She’s also a talented maker, known for her delicious homemade jam, rich chocolate, soothing soaps, and more.
