Rafna, Founder of Aktibeto, is on a mission to empower women in technology. She started her career as a Software Engineer working on developing backend applications in Fintech and Telecommunication industry. Her leadership and communication skills helped her to lead multiple global teams in the corporate industry. Currently she is working with non profit organizations and mission driven projects as a Tech Lead/Consultant. She helps non profit organizations transform to digital space or improve their activities using cutting edge technology. She loves to create ways for women to advance in their career. She established and managed Java Study Group in Denver, CO for 4 years and helped thousands of women to advance their career in Java and related technologies. She created a Career Returnship program for Colorado women returning to work after a career break and 30% of Career Returnship program members got into full time jobs within 8 months of launching the program.
