Pollinator Pathway Bend

Our Mission

Create and connect pesticide-free habitat for imperiled native pollinators.

Our Story

Pollinator Pathway Bend is a community-wide effort to create and connect pesticide-free pollinator habitat in the city of Bend, Oregon (and Central Oregon). We work with community stakeholders to plant and maintain pollinator habitat, and we educate the public about issues related to pollinator species. Basey Klopp began the pathway with a small group of volunteers in 2020, working with local businesses and the city and parks departments to get over1000 plants in the ground that first year. She laid the framework for the current organization, now run by a Board of local residents, and the movement continues to grow. In 2023 we added more than 2000 native plants to the local environment.

Pollinator Pathway Bend became a 501(c)(3) charitable organization in 2023.
