Place Beyond Bytes (Place2B) is a co-creation lab for data-based impact ventures at the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE) funded by the Excellence Startup Center programme.

Our goal is to support UDE members in developing digital innovations for a sustainable future. PBB offers UDE members free office workstations with 24/7 access, modern IT infrastructure, a professional photo and video studio, (further) education courses in tech and entrepreneurship with real business cases, and networking events.

Place2B workshops and networking events offer founders, students and leading experts from technology and science a platform for exchange, collaboration and growth.
