Since 2007, Nonsense ATL has been throwing dance parties for people who need more actual fun in their lives.

The kind that happens off your phone, after dark, in a room full of strangers who might be friends by the end of the night. A few hours to dance, sweat, sing too loud, escape real life, and remember that going out is supposed to feel good.

Our parties cover a lot of sounds: disco, dance pop, house, indie sleaze, 2000s pop, Y2K throwbacks, Lady Gaga, and the occasional very specific idea that Atlanta clearly needs for one night. But the range is not random. Every Nonsense party has a point of view.

If we say it’s a disco party, it’s a disco party. If we say it’s dance pop, you’re getting dance pop. If we build a night around Lady Gaga, we’re all going there together, all night long. We respect our partiers, and we care about playing the music we promised.

The throughline is Kimber, our founding DJ, and the Nonsense sound: joyful, sweaty, familiar without being lazy, surprises at just the right time, and always built around keeping the dance floor moving.

Everyone is welcome. No cool-kid tests. No perfect outfits required. Just show up, get into it, and leave glad you came.
