Michele Fiore
Michele Fiore was born in Brooklyn, New York, and has lived in Nevada since 1993. The only child of a single mother, Fiore was brought up with a strong work ethic and a sense of independence. She has two daughters, Sheena and Savanah, two first responder son-in-laws, David and Kyle, six grandchildren, Jake 9 years old; Twins Morrigan & Mara 6; Jayden 6; Jemma 2; Jackson 1 year, and also takes care of her mother, Lill Fiore.
Fiore has over 31 years of business and entrepreneurial experience. As the CEO of a construction firm, a home health care company, a consulting company, and a publishing firm, she has created more than 1,800 jobs in Las Vegas. As the chief executive officer, she gained experience creating and working within budgets and making decisions about policies and procedures all while utilizing a solutions-based approach and maintaining a customer service focus. She also produced an independent film (Siren), which debuted at the Sundance Film Festival.
As of July 2017, Fiore represents the City of Las Vegas as the Councilwoman for Ward 6, and in July of 2019, was asked by Mayor Carolyn Goodman to serve as her Mayor Pro Tem and was then unanimously elected by her peers. She stays active in the community, creating outreach events and hosting numerous community events in the ward that allow her residents to talk to her face to face. Fiore’s mission statement is, “My mission is simple – to keep freedoms for our families so that our legacies can live on infinitely, working together in a healthy environment.”
As the Ward 6 Councilwoman, Fiore sits on several community boards, including the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), who, as the official destination marketing organization of Las Vegas, promotes tourism, conventions, meetings and special events – as well as ongoing advocacy to extend the city’s influence as a leader in tourism and hospitality. As a member of the LVCVA board, Fiore has personally traveled to several countries to promote Las Vegas as the world’s premier tourist destination. She also serves on the Southern Nevada Regional Planning Coalition, the Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument Advisory Council and is an Alternate on the Nellis Civilian Military Council Executive Board. Prior to her election as Mayor Pro Tem, she was a member of the board of Workforce Connections, which is Southern Nevada’s Local Workforce Development Board (LWDB), and was on the board of the Southern Nevada Health District.
In January 2018, Fiore was elected as the Republican National Committeewoman for the State of Nevada and has traveled throughout the state to meet with fellow Republicans and promote the party in every county.
