Mapuana Taamu is the Owner and Lead Educator with Hawaii Memory Friends LLC.  She provides education, training and consultation for caregivers, both health care professionals and family caregivers.  With more than 7 years of experience working hands-on with geriatric patients, Mapuana has a passion for working with clients who exhibit challenging behaviors and communication deficits. She specializes in dementia care and is an advocate for her patients.
