This private Gold Mining Camp & Campground opens its gates to the public during scheduled gold & treasure events. All other times are reserved for members of the Lost Dutchman's Mining Association only.

These events are a great way to learn mining skills from seasoned prospectors, meet new friends, and of course... Find Some Gold!

Our Story . . .Founded in 1976 by George "Buzzard" Massie, the Lost Dutchman’s Mining Association (LDMA) is the Nation’s largest and most respected private membership gold mining and prospecting organization. LDMA has Mining Camps and properties across the United States in known gold bearing areas such as California, Arizona, Oregon, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Each Camp/Property is unique with their own amenities. Members can enjoy camping and mining stays up to 6 months in any camp or property. Some camps featuring full RV hookup sites and/or Bath houses, common areas, community kitchens and of course great gold in or around the camp area.

We offer up to 14-Day Passes to visit any of our Gold Camps when events are not happening.
