I became a Certified Zentangle Teacher in April, 2016. I obtained my Bachelors of Arts in (Visual) Art degree from Eastern CT State University in 1989 and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Hartford in 2001.  

I primarily teach Zentangle through the Art for Healing Program of Hartford Hospital but I also teach through the adult education programs of several local towns as well as providing instruction to large groups for professional development and/or team building purposes.  I also teach private classes.

I feel that the Zentangle method is a nice combination of my two fields of study as I can express myself through my art while sharing a method I love to others who may need to soothe anxieties, relieve stress, enhance their creativity or just make something unique and beautiful.
