LARA Educational Opportunities

The Lafayette Adult Resource Academy (LARA) is an adult education facility in Lafayette, Indiana funded through the Indiana Department of Workforce Development and grants. We provide free high school equivalency classes to adults ages 16 and up who are no longer enrolled in high school, free English Language classes to people for whom English is not their native language, and we provide training and certification assistance to those wishing to pursue particular careers. Our mission is to "empower, encourage, and elevate adult learners through education and training, enriching lives and our community." We strive to remove barriers to education including but not limited to childcare and transportation.
