The King County GIS Center manages the King County Geographic Information System (KCGIS), King County’s cooperative, multi-department, enterprise GIS. The GIS Center provides efficient, high-quality GIS leadership, coordination, infrastructure, training, and services to meet the business needs of our customers and clients within King County and the communities we serve.
The GIS Training Express Program is King County's multi-faceted approach to providing both standardized and custom training options to meet the educational needs of GIS professionals and users. We offer a broad mix of learning opportunities, which include ArcGIS® classes, a growing catalog of custom King County GIS Training Express classes, our unique GIS Academy, URISA Certified Workshops, free one-hour workshops, and specialized classes offered by our training partners.
Our GIS Training Express instructors are working GIS professionals who know how to use GIS in a real-world business environment. They can help you advance your career and help your agency or company deliver more GIS return-on-investment.
