Jake

Jake is Europe's oldest (though we still look pretty good!) and largest (not that it's all about size) networking, erm, network for gay men. Set up by Ivan Massow in 2002, it is now run by journalists Simon Gage and Stephen Unwin. There are monthly drinks events in the hottest locations in town (The Corinthia, The Sanderson, Saint Martin's Hotel, The Ace, Somerset House, names, sweetie, names) and occasional free screenings (Almodovar, Philomena, Looking...) Membership of Jake is free (go to www.jaketm.com and sort that out) and you get a weekly newsletter on a Friday telling you about Jake events and other things of interest to do, largely in London.
