This public park, built on a historic, elevated rail line on Manhattan’s West Side, was saved from demolition by neighborhood residents and the City of New York, and opened in 2009 as a hybrid public space where visitors experience nature, art, and design.

Timed-entry reservations will return in spring of 2022 during peak visitation periods. In the meantime, 2021 fall and winter visits do no require a timed-entry reservation.
