Handmade DFW is a cooperative, all-volunteer group of makers, artists, designers, and entrepreneurs living and working in the DFW Metroplex.

We are a non-profit association of creative entrepreneurs. Founded in 2007, our focus it two-fold - to help support and spread the word about the amazing handmade makers in the DFW area and to share and teach the community about the handmade movement. Formerly Etsy Dallas, we rebranded to our new name to support the greater DFW community regardless of selling platform.

Our mission is to promote the handmade movement in the greater Dallas area and beyond.

We accomplish our mission by achieving these goals:

• To promote awareness and support of the handmade movement in Dallas and the surrounding Metroplex
• To establish and maintain the integrity of the local handmade movement.
• To act as a cooperative resource and mentoring network to grow businesses within the handmade industry.
• To foster higher business standards within the handmade industry by encouraging better business practices and methods.
• To educate the public in the creation of modern handmade crafts, and to inspire and empower individuals and bring together communities.
