Learning to fly cast is an essential part of trouble free fly fishing, and will not only improve your personal confidence, bring more enjoyment during this activity but will inevitably provide a greater opportunity to catch more fish! The thought of being able to cast in to a strong wind or cast a fly accurately to allow it to float delicately to it's final destination is the envy or the challenge of any fly angler.

Obtaining the right support, guidance, encouragement with the necessary level of engagement and explanation is key to improve your learning environment. This is where new fly anglers can obtain that fly casting boost to begin this amazing activity which not only provides you the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors but it also brings a positive foundation to improve your health and well being.

Fly Fishing courses are provided at specific fisheries but our One to One or Corporate Group, Fly fishing sessions can be undertaken at many locations throughout Yorkshire and are priced as either a half day (4 hours) or full day (7 hours). During a fly fishing lesson for beginners, all equipment is supplied and will include an Environment Agency Rod Licence for that specific session. The cost of fishery ticket may be at an additional cost if not confirmed within the event confirmation.
