Esoteric Etchings

Esoteric Etchings is a new untutored art circle practising the surrealist tradition of automatic drawing, first used by prominent occultist Austin Osman Spare. We work with life models to embody archetypes, scrying to access dreamscapes, and shadow work to connect to our subconscious self and inner world. We will use tools to tap into our intuition and creative expression through the chaos magic practice of unlearning, disconnecting from what something should look like and truly see what is in front of us. We will use the black bowl or mirror for scrying, dream journaling, and tarot to connect to our intuition, as well as other surrealist practices.

The first series of events will fall on each full moon, starting from July.

The group is untutored by art model and occult enthusiast, Rebecca Collins-Thompson.
