The Land Alchemists is a cultural organizing project that has drawn its storyline from the voices and visions of Philadelphian organizers, farmers, and dancers, through a series of sacred visioning circles and feedback integration sessions from this past year. While majority of the foot basins for the foot soak ceremony were upcycled, three of the foot basins used were collectively hand made and prayed over by participants of the visioning circles in a reiki/ceramic workshop. This work was made possible by the Community Voices Grant of Independence Media Public Foundation and our fiscal sponsor, Black Star Projects. 100% of the proceeds will be equally distributed between the Panzi Foundation of the Congo, and Camp Breakers of Gaza, Palestine.
