Delta Peers
Our mission at Delta Peers Inc, is to invoke the spirit of what we can achieve by establishing a community of peers and shared voice in Contra Costa County. Transcending mental health, delta peers provide an innovated opportunity to acquire resources and training for a trauma informed network of peers. Our community is a haven for all sentient beings looking for respite from experiencing mental health crisis due to high rental burdens, homelessness, struggling with PTSD triggers and/or seeking a safe place of harmony, spirit, and balance. Our Five-Point Wellness Plan supports discussion topics, workshops, retreats and free trainings regarding peer support, chronic depression, suicide prevention, and sex trafficking with a verity of modalities that practice surviving through a mental crisis and living with whole-self wellness.

The strategies in which Delta Peers Inc. will conduct this project is by collaborating with multiple organizations and individuals throughout California that are already providing trainings for their communities. Using the material from already established peer run organizations, Delta Peers Inc. will provide resources (The Well) for Contra Costa County to acquire the trainings and information regarding Peer Support and mental health awareness throughout California. It will also be brought to Contra Costa County Behavioral Health to promote peer support, peer run organizations, and peer respites. Delta Peers Inc. established its community in Contra Costa County, Antioch July 2019.
