Lisa Russell @ ArtsEnvoyai
Lisa Russell is a Regional Emmy® Award–winning filmmaker, writer, and creative AI practitioner working at the intersection of storytelling, ethics, and global development. She is the founder of ArtsEnvoy.ai, a creative AI platform and training ecosystem focused on responsible storytelling, narrative justice, and capacity building for artists and development professionals.
With over two decades of experience collaborating with the United Nations system, NGOs, and global institutions, Lisa’s work explores how stories shape power, policy, and public perception - and how emerging technologies like AI can either reinforce harm or help restore dignity, inclusion, and authorship.
Her films, immersive artworks, and AI-driven storytelling projects have been presented during:
- the UN General Assembly,
- AI for Good Global Summit,
- COP climate conferences, and
- International festivals.
Her writing on ethics and creative AI has been published by the UN Chronicle.
Through workshops, academies, and live trainings, Lisa focuses on helping development professionals move beyond surface-level tool use toward a deeper understanding of the systems behind AI - including bias, representation, and accountability - while building practical, work-ready storytelling skills.
