Common Ground Foundation

The Common Ground Foundation (CGF) was founded by Academy Award winning Artist, Actor, Author Lonnie Rashid Lynn, better known as “Common". Our mission is to use creative arts to expose youth to new opportunities. Based in Chicago, our work reaches inner city youth, ages 13-17, through mentoring and college preparation programs. Our focus areas are nutrition/healthy living, money management, character development, and creative expression.
