Cathy has had a far-reaching career that includes over 29 years in the real estate industry, more than 18 years of teaching experience and is known as a subject matter expert in homeownership. She has authored more than 150 training manuals, met and trained more than 100,000 real estate professionals and has conducted more than 3,000 live classes since 2007. During 2025, she met over 50,000 real estate practitioners in a Zoom class.

Because of Cathy’s background in real estate and mortgage lending alongside relationships with federal, state and local government agencies she is well-equipped to understanding the needs of her students and equally well prepared to offer hands-on, real-world guidance that serve them well. She works hard to keep abreast of pertinent changes affecting homeownership and brings the most up-to-date information to class.

Cathy received the 2018 Membership Director appointment from the Georgia Real Estate Educators Association for a two year term. She proceeded as the Education Director for "Atlanta Training Campus" in Peachtree Corners, Georgia which received the 2019 Best Training Campus of 2019 from City of Norcross. Other accomplishments include the 2016 "Outstanding New Program Course" for her new training curriculum "Pre and Post Housing Counseling Specialist" and the 2008 "Educator of the Year" both from the Georgia Real Estate Educators Association. Since 2020, Cathy has serve as the Education Instructor for Virtual Properties Realty, in Duluth, GA the largest real estate brokerage in Georgia. A home to more than 3,700 real estate practitioners.

Her goal in 2026 is offering CE approved live Zoom "distant learning" courses along with Designations and Certifications tailored to Georgia's housing marketplace.
