Center Stage

CenterStage was started in August 2016 by Abigail Allen and Olivia Drinkwater.

 We both grew up on stage and wanted a way to give children at Sacred Heart School the opportunity to learn and grow together in an open, creative, and positive environment. We believe that performing opportunities for children provide so many valuable experiences thatteach a wealth of skills: public speaking, working with others, responsibility, and self-confidence to name a few. We also believe that all children deserve to have a place where they are always welcome, unjudged, and invited to creatively discover all that they have inside themselves. Childhood should be the art of pretending, the art of creating alone and with others, and the art of presenting yourself and your unique abilities. At Center Stage children from the City of Hattiesburg have an opportunity to work together, to create together and to perform together.
