Catchment to Coast is one of 25 DEFRA funded Flood and Coastal Resilience Innovation Programme (FCRIP) projects which will reduce flood risk, reduce coastal erosion and improve drought tolerance across Southend and Thurrock. New and innovative measures will be trialed and data gathered on wider aspects such as water quality and habitats so that local, regional and national policy can be improved to allow us to better adapt to our changing climate.
