Camping Noire
Camping Noire creates joyful, restorative outdoor experiences for Black women through hiking, camping, seasonal adventures, workshops, and community gatherings. Rooted in representation, safety, and sisterhood, we offer intentional spaces for Black women to reconnect with nature, themselves, and each other.
Founded by Tasheea Nicholson, Camping Noire is committed to expanding visibility and belonging in outdoor spaces while nurturing wellness, confidence, and community care. Whether you’re new to the outdoors or returning to it, our experiences invite you to slow down, breathe deeply, and take up space in nature without code‑switching, pressure, or performance.
From monthly Goddess Hikes to overnight camping trips, fireside conversations, and outdoor skills trainings, Camping Noire is a home for Black women seeking joy, movement, and meaningful connection in the outdoors.
Camping Noire welcomes aligned partnerships and sponsorships that support our mission of creating accessible, affirming outdoor experiences for Black women. We collaborate with brands and organizations that value representation, community wellness, and the transformative power of nature.
Your next moment of restoration awaits — we’ll see you outside.
