Built Different is an African Web3 startup community and DAO.

We connect founders, developers and build a shared and inclusive community around a more open and decentralized internet in Zimbabwe and Africa.

We believe in

• Building together as opposed to building in isolation.
• Teaching what we know and learning from the people around us.
• Sharing resources, time and success.

We are

• Building a community of startups that collaborate and share resources/ideas.
• Hold events every month to inspire would be founders, teach new web3 & blockchain developers and educate the public on Ethereum and web3.

We accomplish this by

• Setting up a DAO that will help plot the direction of the organization
• Connecting our startups to a network of mentors, peers, platforms and technologies.

And

• Running a skills program that helps create a path for African developers to become blockchain or web3 developers.
