Bread & Roses Presents brings hope, healing and joy through live music to those who are isolated in a variety of institutions in eight counties around the Bay Area. Founded in 1974 by the late singer-songwriter/guitarist Mimi Fariña, the nonprofit organization presents over 600 free live concerts a year in over 120 facilities to 34,000 audience members. Nearly two-thirds of its programs are hosted by volunteers.
