Back On Azimuth, LLC grew from a combination of an opportunity to teach, military experience, and a love for the outdoors. Back on Azimuth LLC offers simple survival courses to public and private schools, as well as the homeschooling community, through virtual, in-person, or hybrid modalities.

Ben Pankow (Founder) is a US Army Veteran and Homeschool Dad, who believes every kid’s place during the summer is having an adventure, outside in the woods. Ben developed this curriculum based off training he attended in his military career. He has taught and assessed Leadership Development on part time basis at UW-Madison's Military Science Department.
