AuSome Pals
AuSome Pals is an autism-affirming community dedicated to creating joyful, inclusive experiences for children on the spectrum and their families.
Founded by Dr. Shirley Sims, a Certified Autism Specialist, educator, and autism mom, AuSome Pals was created to bridge the gap between clinical services and real-life connection. We provide safe, supportive spaces where children can build confidence, develop social skills, and simply be themselves.
Through engaging meetups, social clubs, and family-centered experiences, AuSome Pals focuses on connection, community, and celebration—because every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered.
Our programs are designed to be fun, welcoming, and pressure-free, allowing children to grow at their own pace while forming meaningful friendships.
What We Offer:
- Social clubs & meetups (Play, Learn, and Socialize)
- Confidence-building experiences for kids on the spectrum
- Parent connection and community support
- Autism awareness, education, and advocacy
At AuSome Pals, we believe:
- Different is beautiful
- Every child shines in their own way
- And no family should feel alone on this journey
