The ASB Research Office plays a pivotal role in supporting and advancing ASB’s research initiatives. It serves as the primary liaison between ASB and global research stakeholders, including funders, corporate partners, and academic institutions.

The Research Office also organizes a range of research and academic events—from large-scale conferences to short seminars—providing a platform for academics, students, and corporate partners to network and engage with the latest research findings.

The ASB Research Office oversees and supports all ASB research centers and themes, covering areas such as refugees and migration, social impact in ASEAN, sustainability, energy, monetary policy, central banking, palm oil, agriculture, and entrepreneurship.

The research centers under the Research Office include:

• ASEAN Research Center (ARC)

• Center for Sustainable Small-owners (CSS)

• Center for Technology, Strategy & Sustainability (CTSS)

• Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center (IEC)

• Tun Ismail Ali Center of Excellence (TIACOE)
