Comedy Village

Comedy Village

Owner PJ Landers has deep roots in New York comedy history. He took over the legendary Boston Comedy Club on West 3rd Street in Greenwich Village—a proving ground for many of today’s biggest names in comedy. It was that experience, coupled with his understanding of what comics and crowds truly want, that led him to open the original Comedy Village in 2004.

In 2024, following the closure of Carolines on Broadway, PJ saw an opportunity to revive Midtown’s comedy scene. He launched the new Comedy Village at 352 West 44th Street, making it the only full-time, seven-nights-a-week comedy club in Times Square. Featured on WPIX News, the club quickly became recognized as a top-tier destination among comedy clubs NYC is known for.
