Taylor-Grady House National Historic Landmark | Athens, Georgia

The Taylor-Grady House has stood on Prince Avenue since 1844 — built by enslaved laborers, carried through history by the people who kept choosing it, and now operated as a living gathering place for Athens.

For most of its life, this house was not a place for everyone. The work happening here now is built around a deliberate choice: that a historic house earns its future by becoming what it never fully was — a place of genuine belonging.

Programs at Taylor-Grady House are rooted in food, craft, story, and shared creativity. Every event on this page is an open door. Come join us and "Welcome Home".

Taylor-Grady House National Historic Landmark, Inc. operates the house and grounds under a lease with Athens-Clarke County.
